Hi, I’m Kimberly! For more than two decades, my mission has been to help authors transform their dreams into reality by providing comprehensive self-publishing services through my company, Jera Publishing. My expertise includes self-publishing consulting, interior book design, cover design, and eBook creation, making me a trusted partner for authors looking to navigate the complex world of self-publishing.
My journey in the self-publishing industry began with a dedication to helping authors bring their unique voices to life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with countless authors, guiding them through every step of the publishing process, from manuscript to market-ready book. I developed the Self-Publishing Wizard to be able to help more authors than my busy schedule allows, by putting my knowledge into words and videos and guiding authors through the process in an easy to follow step-by-step task list.
Life isn’t all about business for me, though – on the weekends, you’ll most likely find me out in nature hiking, kayaking, or camping in my Aliner camper. The weather doesn’t always cooperate, so when that happens, I switch gears between reading books, crocheting cat beds for local shelters, or finding a new hobby to dive into.
Originally a California native, my desire to explore the world beyond my hometown led me to settle just outside Atlanta, Georgia. Now, there are seven of us living at home – me, my boyfriend, and our five rescued cats.
